"Let me in, Let me in, little pig or I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"
"Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin", said the little pig.

Matt the 3D rendering king-ding-a-ling!
Matt's learned how to use Cinema 4D, a 3D rendering program! Look at how nice the house will be when finished! We've also decided to go for a bright painted staircase instead of a wooden one. Colour recommendations anyone?
Wow guys this is all very exciting! Loving this house blog. On the painted stairs idea, just a thought but have you considered painting just the 'up-bits' of the stairs, i.e not the top of each stair - does that make sense?? I saw some on holiday where they had done a different pattern on each stair and it looked very good I thought!! But as you two are designers you probably think this is a rubbish idea! Ooo, or you could make a pattern so that when you stand at the bottom you can see it all - I saw an advert a Harpenden train station doing that. I am getting carried away now - you only asked for colour ideas! How about lime green - like the roof on those pictures above.
Hope you are all well. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Hi Amy! Think your ideas are great! Haven't thought about the two-tone painting, but I know what you mean about a pattern, visible from below... Was thinking of that and then I thought 'wondering if it looks wierd if you're small or tall etc...' Patterned tiles might be nice too?
Will be lovely to see you on the 12th! Love the pics on Dylan's blog from your holiday! Looks lovely and he's getting soo big! Cuddle alert! Send my love to him and Simon. xx
